If it wasn't so far built that it blew all eligibility out the window I would have considered it.
You could run it in the Sprints. Go on, do it! I'll come up and pit crew for ya :br:
Would love to, but I've got my eye on either a STOHR or WEST to get into the prototype series next year, or the year after. Whenever I come back to Aus.
They actually have a series running at the moment?
I know there is a series for Radicals.
Yep, it was the sports racers, but it's now the prototype series as they've opened it up to the big gun prototype cars and also the Radical R8 which was kicked out of the Radical comp.
Sprint Datsun/Nissan Z cars are in short supply, there is an LS engined 280ZX which goes well plus a race 370Z which may be entered and that's about it for the Z cars.
B Group EOI's need to register their interest through David email@example.com . B Group is organised by the Z Car Club Q Inc primarily but not exclusively for any Datsun/Nissan competitors who want to run together, it's approved by the event organisers to do this so be assured that you are in safe hands.
Anyone who would like be officially involved in helping the event run can also send an EOI to David, it's a pretty good gig for the volunteers, lots of benefits.
The Z group is pretty well filled, we have one, yes one, Z32 entry and he is a member of the Q club anyway. If anyone wants to do this but life and commitments are getting in the way then, seriously, you need to just do it. We don't need your entry, this is just a suggestion that too many blokes let other stuff get in the way of what they deserve and then one day it's too late, heart attack or some other show stopper.
Event is pretty well booked out now and so it should be. Heaps of first gen Zeds entered, which negates any comment of car value risked as a reason not to do this. We have in the Z regularity Datsun group one (Brisbane) Z32 and one slicked 370ZX, my 280ZX V8 with the rest S30's. Spectating is free and good videos are always welcome, cheers.
I'm really surprised there are not more on this forum jumping at this opportunity.
For car enthusiasts lapping Bathurst is right up there with loosing your virginity!
Not enough cahunas on this forum
I'm surprised too, it's a great circuit for a 300ZX , gives you the chance to have a real blast with very little stop and go like a lot of smaller circuits have. My first Bathurst last year, it's a super challenge yet so much fun, nothing like it.
