1. Hello Guest!

You will likely have noticed we have migrated to new forum software, please see the following post about the upgrade:

Further to this, I have recently changed the style to see if it suits the feel of the forum better and is slightly better on the eyes for people, please feel free to advise me of anything that bothers you, or if this one is better.

And you wonder why I keep coming back from time to time.

I have made some great friends over the years AND A LOT OF THEM ARE FROM HERE.

Short story for you, a few weeks ago I bought an expensive Pro spec Nikon telephoto lens on Gumtree. The sticking point was it was in Perth and I am in Melbourne.

The seller wanted Direct deposit and I am not sure about you but the thought of sending a lot of money to someone I dont know didnt sit well.

Who do i know who lives in Perth? No one !!

Then I had a look for people on the forum I have known for years and remembered. StuMagoo came to mind. I few PM's later and Stu offered to take the cash and pickup and post the 4KG lens back to me in Melbourne.

He went above and beyond to help me out, and to say I appreciated it is an understatement.

I just want to publically say thank you Stuart for everything he did for me and point out how much I value the mates I have made via the forum.

We are all very lucky......... :)

Same for me. Was a car in WA I was keen on. Asked on facebook who was in the area and Brad (DUB) got back to me.
After checking it out and test driving it for me - I sent him the cheque for the car to his address and he collected the car and dropped it off at the depo for me.

There was an incentive for him though, I did offer enough bleach for him to keep his ring in tiptop condition for when he goes on photo-shoots and bends that little too far over.

Good job you chose Brad for that quest.

If you'd have alerted me to that Zed, chances are, I'd have purchased it myself.

    True story. :zlove:

I expect to see a new thread soon :D

    If it's a Ferrari....I quit! lol

Can't be a commodore. There'd be no need to go interstate for a commodore.

Maybe a classic holden? But again.....they're everywhere.

    Coupe 4?

    meh time will tell.

Since the mining boom has died, boys be selling their toys. So many nice HSV Clubsport and GTS for sale in WA I couldn't help myself.

So I've bought a VE E2 Clubsport R8 (LS3). It actually doesn't look much different from the VE SSV I just sold as it's the same colour :rolleyes2:

Nothing rare or exciting, but having a V8 is fun.
