Due to changes in my personal life and a few issues pertaining to my health, it is time for me to sell up " Vertie ", my 1993 Cocoa Bronze Convertible .

It still needs a little bit of odds and ends done to her to have in showroom condition , but that is the same for all our Zeds.

She has just a tick over 108,000 genuine klm's on her, plus all the servicing has been done, i will get her oil etc changed before she goes and a rwc through a legitimate mechanic, no dodgy ones done.

It will be coming with all the spare bits and pieces i have, including a used red 2k front bar, a silver right hand front guard, some fully retrimmed in black leather ? seats . Plus all the other bits i have accumulated over the years.

It is has rego until July 2018, and is currently insured with Shannons for $20,000, so finish her off and that will go up to 30+k.

    Asking price is $14,500 o.n.o

    BUMPITY BUMPITY BUMP BUMP

Come on kiddies, you know you want a convertible , the car is still for sale and the sale of her will help pay my bills whilst i battle prostrate cancer, no work, no money hence the regrettable sale.

In my mind the convertible 300zx is the ultimate zed. I had a 280zx and started looking around for an upgrade. The targa tops looked great but then I found there was a convertible. It seemed out of reach but then I found there was one for sale on Parramatta road just a few k's from work so I went there at lunch time to check it out. It looked good but suspension was shot and a there were a few other problems.

I told the salesman I was an idiot for not buying a MX5 but I could not resist it.

Now 11 years later I still have it and still love it. I've done a lot of work on it - it still looks the same as when I got it but it now has a twin turbo engine and is a bit of a monster if you put your foot down. Drive it normally and it is still is the same little cruiser convertible that nobody knows what it is. It has been mistaken for Corvettes and Ferraris but most people ask what on earth it is.

There are plenty of targa tops out there but there a very few convertibles

I couldn't agree more Stef , the " verts " are the rarest of the rare, and the most fun to drive, i still enjoy people taking pics of it or having a walk around and all the "kiddies" calling it a supra, an mx5, a idunknow , cops telling me it's an illegal mod and then proving them wrong lol . So hopefully someone will buy it and do her up too her full potential, and maybe one day if i can get back to full health i'll rejoin the ranks of a zed owner.

    Hi Scotty

Would you sell the seats separately?

    Cheers

OK - understood. I am trying to downsize my garage so, as beautiful as she is, I'm not up for the car, I'm sorry. Please PM me (however you do that in this new app/site) if you change your mind.

    Cheers

    Hi Scotty

My interest is still in the spare seats, if you’re willling to part with them separately. I know you wants to sell everything at once, but my family is moving from Brisbane to join me in Canberra, soon so I can pick them up and include them in the removal truck.

    Cheers

Dropping the price too $13,000 , with rego and rwc included.

I will not separate the parts from the car.
