I have just downloaded ZTALK ver 1.1 and noticed that the right O2 sensor is stable at 33% but the left varies.. Is this normal for ztalk or is there a problem with my O2 sensor

02's are supposed to change with rev increase/decrease

Ztalk is buggy, but when it dies, it usually locks up everything

as Zed4life says, try Conzult free, but I'd reckon you've got a dud o2 sensor.

I used Conzult freeware, but it only shows 1 o2 sensor, where Ztalk shows 2. I know you are supposed to switch sensors going direct on the ecu when you the blinking light..

    Dead O2 sensor

By checking directly on the ECU using the self diagnostics, I found the right O2 sensor isnt working, hence this is why is runs a little rough when idling and normal cruising..

    Found the problem

It's great to get help from this computer of mine. The wife won't listen to me. I love you, computer. Anyway, enough of the soapies...IT"S FIXED.. It was a stretched black wire from the sensor. I patched the wire and, presto, it works. Happy little Vegimite (TM) now.....Thanks all, (and Computer) for your help...

    Ztalk 'bugs' appear voltage-related >>>

    >>> it works with some Zeds/some PC's sometimes ok.

Try turning headlights ON for several minutes before initiating Ztalk as this helps stabilise the voltage & therefore the software.
