Update: Motorsports event.
Quit a few requested a motor sports event for ZedFest.
With the massive help from Geoff Hood and the Gunnedah Motoring Enthusiasts, we have secured access to the Gunnedah 60O.
The Gunnedah 600 is a sprint event to be held on the Easter Sunday at the Gunnedah Airport.

It is a CAMS approved event and you will need to provide the following to enter:
1. - A CAMS annual licence is $ 100, A single event licence is $60, which can be upgraded to annual licence, which members will need to able to compete.
2. - You need, an CAMS approved extinguisher 1kg dry powder, is required securely mounted in vehicle, metal bracket.
3. - A helmet in good condition, that has 1698 sticker
4. - Sturdy covered shoes and long sleeve shirt.

They have not decided on the entry fee as yet for the Gunnedah 600, and depends on sponsorships to keep it low.
it is suggested the entry fee will be around the $100 mark.
This all depends on sponsorship and total number of people entering the event.
These events take a lot of money to get off the ground, (license application fees, insurance, associated fees)

There will be other car clubs and people entering the event, so we need an *expression of interest* for our group for estimated numbers.
Geoff has worked long and hard to cover all the relevant paperwork and requirements to make this happen for us, so lets support his efforts.

Due to limited funds and the fact that its a LONG way from home if we break it in some major way so we will be watching the driving event from the side line's this time ... Lloyd & Terry
