Well, I'm finally able to support the local Brisbane and surrounding zedders again from 21st July.:zlove: For those who don't know me, please check my Zedcare.com website or do a quick forum search to suss me out. I'm known for being somewhat obzessive, have enjoyed working on 300zx's for many years, own a '1990 twin turbo manual and am fairly well known in the Australian zed community. Will be limiting myself to part-time work on: ZID immobilisers (see other thread in FSBB section) Additional security consulting and alarm installations ECU diagnostic (Datascan & Conzult) tuning Some preventative maintenance work (including wiring loom electrical connector replacement/cleaning etc) Plenum pulls General troubleshooting Electrical work Pre-Purchase inspections (including extra consultation for owners / buyers on pricing, negotiation etc) Only light mechanical work (prefer no 100K services, suspension, drivetrain, brakes, turbo or internal engine work) Impartial advice support on: preventative maitenance scheduling DIY work upcoming future work required upgrades / modifications etc Zed owners are always welcome to watch if desired and/or encouraged to assist get involved in the work. This is a great way to get to know your zed better. Some mechanics recoil in horror after opening their first zed bonnet but it's not that complicated for the average dedicated zedder to care for their zed !!!) I'm located in Mansfield (Brisbane Southside) and available seven days by appointment. Contact me via: PM on the forum email SMS 0402 279373 (I don't always answer my mobile immediately so please leave a voicemail or SMS message) See you all on the next cruize/event!:zlove:
I had Mark do my plenum pull on the zed. I helped a little but learnt alot. He was happy to teach as it was pulled apart and reassembled. Regards Trev P.s Zedcare offers the most comprehensive pre-purchase inspection I have ever come across.(personal experience)
great to hear, mark ... welcome back to zedland .... ... top news for SEQ zedders .....:zlove::zlove::zlove:
I am over you and your empty promises Field.... I send pm's with no response. When I do get a response, it is usually always one word answers. Now you troddle on back in here and expect to just jump right back in where you left off ! YOU CANT BE SERIOUS ! Below is a list of observations I have made about Zed4life for all new members who are unaware of who this clown is. You are unreliable - always turning up 5-10 minutes before you had arranged (I try and arrange my day and you totally wreck my time management with your early appearances) You drink my cold cups of coffee I continually insult your inteligence but you take it on the chin I leave you dangling from forklifts covered in axle grease I overcharge you on everything you buy (AND YOU PAY) I supply dirty rags and ripped rubber gloves so you don't get dirt under your fingernails When you work on my cars they always run better afterwards - that can't be normal You tried the Errol Flynn moustache lookalike which failed dismally You are painfully polite But other than that zedders, he's ok.
A world of knowledge & experience this man has. Great to see you back in action on Zeds again Mark. Not only a great mechanic on the Zed but the best kind - the one that also teaches how to take care of it your self at the same time. You paved the way for me to start tinkering with my own Zed with confidence since showing me some basic maintenance when you did some work on my Zed. I've come a long way since then but you've shown me it's not actually that hard to take care of your own Zed. :zlove:
No no, Rolin, don't forget I'm not doing any large scale mechanical work so I'd be referring that to yourself, Chrispy & Fleet, Gavin Wood etc anyway. Also you are Northside, I'm Southside. For me, this is a small scale operation, part time, very casual setup so I don't see I'm taking anything away from any of the more commercial or 'full service' workshops.
You've made my day Mark. I'm not sure how I would have got through my first year of zed ownership without you and Rob (k-zed) to guide me through all the traumas, well they seemed like traumas to me at the time .
I was just having a go mark. . You were on the scene before i even knew what a vg30 was. So the soutside patch is all yours . lol. Ill send any of those immobiliser jobs your way. im not into that.
