I saw this car when it was pranged, I doubt there was chassis rail damage.

The rear trailing arm had been ripped off the suspension carriage the front bar had taken a beating and slightly bent the side rail beside the front light.

The worst damage was the passenger rear quarter panel. that was really screwed.

All of this was fixable. Its just a matter of how good the repair is.

I would want to know the rear quarter panel had been cut off and replaced and not just bogged up.

The car should be OK if the repairs have been done correctly.

wow, dont tell u me u were in the black zed lol the rear quarter panel wasnt caused by the accident, but a car park pole lol thats why it was so perfectly rounded and most of the front panels were there previoursly. i bought the car with all the panel damage because im doing a motorsport course and i just wanted a car that i could work on at home, but due to the accident i brang it down to bell st collisions to get the rear quarter fixed, and the guy there said that his gona oxy cut the panel off and chuck on a new one, the rest of the panels i had replaced(bonnet front L+R quaters and front bumper) myself and now look immaculate all panels line up(not forced)

just done a compression test today, results:
1st,2nd - 150
3rd,4th,5th,6th - 145
engine is in good condition
and i found the service book from japan, it had 65~ thousand from its last service in japan and the odo is at 92,xxxklms, so the klms are GENUINE

the ZED is where it at mate.... if i sell my Z32 itll be only for a Z33.... or lamborghini - but the ZED club would undrstand that 1

oh and the "CLEANEST" ZED.. that a big statment that doesnt see to have solid grounds

sorry bout the attack muNsi but after looking at the pics of the damage can i ask that when you hit the Gutter... were you in some magical land where gutters come up above the wheel arches and gutter drains liked to eat rims???

that some pretty big damage for a gutter hit man...

my car just got hit by a 4x4 and it doesnt look any where as bad... my car looks keyd compared to your gutter hit

Most of our cars have previous damage. Some of it we know about, some we don't. If we know about it, we tell.

i wished you well with the sale... from wot you said in the past thread it was ogin to cost you a bit over $2000 to fix it up... and you wanted $3500 for the car wrecked... so hmmm... $3500(wrechage)+$2500 (damage) = $6000... so a couple of grand for your repair efforts is fair enough man... im just looking out for newcomers to the ZED club no need paying too much for sumthing so dodgy... and also in your previous post u mentioned that there WAS chassis damage... i suggest you find sumwhere else to sell... or just start being honest... i am glad you didnt wreck it coz the more 300's on the road tha better.... do you feel like a hero after your lil swearing hissy fit???

Might i suggest that you sit down take a deep breath and read through all your post re this car and then put a trueful and correct sales spill.

You seem to have a lot differnt prices and description for this car from a 3500 wreck that would cost 2000 to fix to this ?

Car looks

tidy - now. Possibly original k's as Ken stated as you can see the white writing on switches etc aren't worn (unless replaced of course)

Still though, looking at the pics in its damaged state, the gutter must have been hit with high force to break all things mentioned and then to spear off into the grass(note lump of dirt and grass wedged)

As per 1/4 damage - I would suggest that it is possibly the aftermath of accident when car came to rest. Only one way for a pole to hit side of a car - and thats for the car to be going sideways at the time.

At the end of the day, the car is now repaired (like many others in the country) and a good inspection will soon clarify if quality repairs have been carried out.
I would also suspect that the repairs cost considerbly more than 2.5K including paint.

The asking price is not unreasonable to someone looking at buying a nice Z but because of its history here on the forum, I doubt a sale will be made here.
A more reasonable price tag to forum members(who know of the damage) may have encouraged more interest and less flaming.

If you are serious about selling it beacuse you hate it or need a change Ken, I would suggest you redo your sums and price it accordingly, not trying to profit from forum members who know the car. NO FLAME INTENDED and not that making a profit is a bad thing.

As someone mentioned - you wanted say $3k damaged - it may have cost for arguments sake,say $3K To repair, so why not consider $6 or even $6.5 and cut any losses to make it go away. People will overlook the fact that it has been repaired for that price. But when you start asking top $ for a car that has had considerable repairs (that people are aware of) it will make it very hard to make a sale.

Just my thoughts and good luck with the sale.
