This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Z Car Club Queensland (ZCCQ). There are two main events over the weekend of 22-23 November, this is the first - a cruise on Saturday morning through the beautiful Sunshine Coast area.

The run will commence with an early morning Brekkie BBQ sponsored by the Club, followed by a leisurely cruise with a coffee stop along the way, finishing with a lunch (both at your own cost). Estimated time from start to finish of the event is 7am - 1pm, with approx. 4 hours driving time.

Bookings for breakfast and lunch will be essential. Details closer to the date, but in the meantime you should register your interest now with Bill Cash by email to billcashzccq@bigpond.com.

Participation in this event will be free of charge, but you and anyone accompanying you will need to be a current financial member of the ZCCQ. Trial (limited duration) memberships will be available on the day for the nominal cost of $2. This is a CAMS & (PLI) Public Liability Insurance requirement.

More information can be found by emailing Bill Cash at billcashzccq@bigpond.com or visit the ZCCQ website for more details.

Sadly that's the same day as Gavan and Maree tech day down at Ormeau.

Yes, it's a real shame they clash. :( I won't be attending the cruise myself, but thought those north of Brisbane might be interested to know.

PS: There are some nice roads to drive on right next to our place so you will be able to have some spirited driving there

LOL oohogwash you sure are persistent! :p Have the feeling the ZCCQ has planned this for a while, and mostly Z31/280/260/240 series Z cars. Hopefully both the cruise up North and the tech day down south are a big success, bummed I can't make either of them. :(
