    I have a 1989 Z32 JDM Slicktop.
    The vin number reads Z32000175
Is this number considered to be a low build number? Does it increase the overall value of the car?
Does someone have a lower build no.?
    Cheers Jason.

That's basically the 175th Z32 built. Pretty cool but doesn't really increase the value of the car unless there's something super rare on it.

No, she's stock as a rock.
The only thing on it that you don't see too often is, the left and right tinted perspex quarter window covers.

    Re: VIN Z32-000175

    Date Built: August 1989
    Chassis: 2.0 Seater
    Engine: VG30DE (Normally Aspirated)
    Colour: 732
    Trim: G (Standard Trim)
    Transmission: Automatic
    Roof: Z (Hardtop)

The VIN does not increase the value of the car.

What determines the value is the overall condition of the vehicle & what someone will pay for it.
I had a vehicle probably identical to yours except for the colour, with VIN Z32-000162.

Hey East Coast Z, can you do mine please? Have been meaning to ask for awhile now.

    CZ32-503126

    Thanks in advance!

I'm quite sure mine has had a manual conversion done. A very good conversion, but yeah.

Going back a few years ago, I think someone on the forum had one about #5.
There are, or were, quite a few Z's built in July 1989 on the forum.

My 92 FD RX7 is Aussie Delivered VIN#6. Good conversation topic but does squat for value and was a lot cheaper than a newer model since older the car, the harder the life it's had with a lot more owners and questionable modifications done over those years.

March in 1990? Well that is a surprise! My rego papers say '93 so I'm not sure how they arrived at that.

Not sure how I feel about it being that bit older either  In a year and a half or so, she'll be 30!

Having the colour code is nice - i do like that gunmetal colour to be honest.

    Thanks very much mate :)
