You'll probably find they move a sufficient volume of these to justify casting their own housing, whereas larger turbos just won't move as many units. They're a bolt on swap for ageing stock turbos, very streetable, and supporting mods to the engine aren't necessary.

That said, it would be nice to see more bespoke housings being cast but I just don't think it will happen. I do think these are a much nicer alternative to the janky adapter plates prevuously used though.

That's kind of why I like them, in a realistic scenario when I change turbos I wont be going to a Z specialist so if I can hand a turbo that looks the same as stock to a Z noob mechanic I foresee less hassles.

I think hks 2530 used a bespoke front housing but these are basically extincted and 5 bolt
Mabatek has a front and rear housing which is kind of nice but oem size compressor and for some strange reason a .57 rear which puts it in between auto and manual oem sizing maybe they though it would be less laggy, kind of gets is the way if you want to turn it up.
Hypergear had housings for a split second but something was off with the casting on the compressor housing and didn't line up.

What would be nice would be these z1 compressor housing with a t25 .64 5 bolt , with some large chra like a gtx3071r - like a crazy gt2530 that bolts on and looks stock.

Possibly, though I couldn't find any indication of manufacturer or brand, so are they no-name China turbos with questionable reliability? Probably won't know more until people start to get them in their hands.

could be going off the use of 360-degree thrust bearings, and the price point. could be mamba, pulsar, ect with a z1 logo. I was going to order now I might hold off.

Good pickup, I missed the part where they were listed as journal bearing. I'm sure it will come out once a few people in the states get their hands on them, be interested to see who their supplier is.
