......I am told the bars are to be arriving in Brisbane, from Perth, on Sunday, today, and when I confirm that tomorrow, I will drive down to collect them. Then it will take me a few days to unpack them and wrap them individually and send them off, as it is a big job.

........collected the Bars today:biggrin: . Customs held them for 3 days doing a spot check. Bless them:zlove: I was ready to get them on Sunday I will unpack them and send them off individually by Monday

......URGENT REQUEST.......

...........will everyone PLEASE immediately check their Bars and measure them for correct fitting. Baz has tried two bars on his car now and apparently both of them are the wrong size for his Zed by his measurements. Can you all then post up your findings, because I need to know if there are any bars that are not to correct measurements? Please also be very careful and accurate with the measurements as there is quite a bit at stake here.:zlove: If they are only a fraction out, that would be normal and can be worked with

how do i measure the stock front bar?
or can somemone be nice and measure theres for me? 89 Jap TT 2+2

 

....just.....

.......very accurately measure the Bar along the top line from the far left edge to the far right edge. Then do the same with your Zed. The measurements should be the same or at least within a couple of mm.

 

..URGENT REQUEST -- UPDATE.....

.............I have not heard back from anyone who has bought the
Greddy Urethane front bars, so I assume that Baz is the only one with fitting issues I have also contacted the US supplier, and they have had no issues with either the Greddy or the Bomex front bars fitment, either in the US, UK or Europe It may just be due to Baz's Zed at some time being involved in an accident perhaps, prior to him acquiring the car?, thus putting one side of the car out of alignment. It does not take much of a ding to do that:zlove:
