My z was starting to look a bit ?tired? (in my opinion anyway)..I know a few will say that Im just being anal about my carand the answer is YES Iam...The following is a list of what im having done at the moment: Bare metal respray in factory Midnight Pearl Blue (extra pearl added) Rear wiper removed (hole welded closed) Vented front guards Vented nose panel New window cowls New t-top centre panel Bomex side mirrors Twin Magnaflow mufflers New engine wiring harness Smoothed out engine bay Relocated engine bay fuse boxes 2000 spec headlight upgrade Nismo 555 injectors 300 degree fuel rail / AN fittings All hoses to be black nylon braided hoses Sard fuel pressure regulator Battery relocation to spare wheel well Garrett GT525 Turbo Kit All engine bay piping to be colour coded factory Midnight Pearl Blue Engine bay is to have a full wiring tuck (hidden wiring) Hood prop kit Relocation of power steering reservoir to back of engine bay Colour coded radiator shroud cover (Midnight Pearl Blue) Colour coded cam covers (Midnight Pearl Blue) Custom made throttle cable cover New OEM heater core Custom dash cluster Full auto ? manual transmission conversion Custom dash pod with 3 gauges. Sparco quick release steering wheel boss Momo Millenium steering wheel Selin Dual MAF translator I will have a full build thread with pics in a couple of months...by that stage it should be better than it was the day it rolled off the production line....and a hell of a lot quicker. The engine and transmission is currently with Chris (Ezzupturbo) being worked on and the body is with East Pilbara Panel Services having the engine bay smoothed out, all mounting tabs removed and all unnecessary holes welded closed before receiving a full bare metal respray in factory Midnight Pearl Blue, with the addition of extra pearl so the paint will shimmer in the sunlight. The car has been off the road since Sept 2011 and will hopefully be finished by August/Sept 2012.... Watch this space. !!!! This is what my Z used to look like:
Its not a wishlist Graham...I have all of the parts already and the work on the moter/transmission and the body has already commenced...it will be reality (about 10 week to complete)

Love it and so will the cops... great job in making your atmospheric BOV near on impossible for the fuz to spot. Seriously looks great hope mine looks like that when it gets done... :zlove:
The BOV.s are being relocated to under the nose panel... i agree that they are way to visible in the engine bay at the moment
The extravagance, what a legend! Can't wait to see the final pics. To do all that Z-loving to a neglected Z would be pretty over-the-top, but to do all that to a such an immaculate Z... your commitment obviously knows no limits. Total champion!!!
n tihe next few weeks Im buying coilovers (probably Tein HA's) and Im looking at 6 piston Wilwood or AP Racing calipers......so no, I havent forgotten about brakes and suspension
You're an animal. This when complete will be in the premium zed list along with Grahams old beast and a few others amongst us. Great work and great appreciation towards the old girl. Awaiting patiently update photos.

Chris is doing the engine/gearbox and the body and paint is being done in Newman...hopefully will all be back with Chris for final reassembly early august....aiming to have it finished by end of August
your doing such a fantastic job with your zed, please dont buy 10+ year old coilovers, even superstreets would be much better. Really looking forward to seeing which brakes you get though, even though I've upgraded mine theres just this nagging feeling they should be bigger... Would love some AP's!
This is epic !! I always respected your zed in the form is appeared in the first posted pictures but with all of this work it will be insane ! Slightly jealous ;p I can't wait to see it when it's done mate and keep up the good work , it's back to my engine for me lol
