Yes definatley not a job for the feint hearted. This is a full on kit with lots of peices, however fitment is pretty straight forward overall, The only really major hassle is the rear guards have to be cut and the inner skins repositioned and rewelded. The rest is mainly stick on rivet and fill.

The picture of the rear bar above is indicative only. The one Gonzo is working on for the widebody kit is very similar to this style in reference to the exhaust holes in the bar.



Plus may have the split filled in also for a cleaner look. Depends on what the participants want we are open to suggestions on this within reason

 

Update

PM has been sent to all parties who have expressed interest.

For everyone else we have a pricing change.

I confirmed this afternoon that by the addition of the rear bar with this kit it is deemed different to the original and loyalties no longer apply.

The pricing has been updated to take out this payment, however gets substituted with the added cost of a reworked rear bar design and subsequent mould costs etc. Good news is its still lower and the new GB price for 5 kits will be $2900 plus freight.

The other good news due to input recieved from the Curve Beet Bodykit thread in Z related I have recalculated the costs of the kits should 8 kits sell. This price should 8 be sold will be $2600 per kit .

The original pricing was based on 5 kits only

So the update is

New kit price for 5 sets sold (minimum) $2900 plus freight

New kit price should the full 8 sets be sold (maximum) $2600 plus freight

So get in quick for this now 2 seater and 2+2 kits are the same price

as your no longer having to pay royalties why is it you cant make more than 8 kits now? or at least continue to offer full kits in the future?

I only ask because while this is definately not viable for me at the moment it may well be in 12 months should i finally get the finances to begin "operation: project zed" & this would definately be top of my list of things to do! actually second, first is purchasing a tt to fit it too

i appreciate you want to keep this all exclusive & not like the million veilside bars that blight the landscape but at the price mate i doubt that'll be a huge problem. so please consider not limiting production!

Its still open for discussion between myself, Gonzo and other GB participants.

At the moment we need 5 to make it viable to reproduce and 8 was just a number we came up with based on the number of states and territories that make up Australia so the initial concept was 1 for each state but in reality it is sometimes far different.

There is no plans currently set to ever reproduce this kit in full again and any such decision will be made in conjunction with the participants of this GB.

The idea is to keep them exclusive and I am sure some people will miss out, you could always buy one now and fit it later

If they are reproduced again at any time in the future the costs will be higher and will be sold in For Sale by Business section. We can certainly entertain the possibility with the GB participants though once this initial run is done and completed

 

Well there will be at least 1 for WA, im in :zlove: just 1 thing, what is the front bar gona look like? gona look like the 1 in the pic at the top of the thread?

No front bar included. Though you could get the one in the photo. I think it's ABflug.

Keeps them from looking the same if we all have different bars. Maybe you and me can get together and work out fitting together

 

Okay as per PM we are nearly ready to roll with this project.
We have the minimum number of 5 parties to get this up and underway providing everyone is still in. I would like it confirmed by the end of the week if at all possible so first payments etc can be recieved and sent so Curve can make the kit.

There are only 3 spots left currently for this GB so get in quick the cutoff date is still the 17th July unless we are sold out earlier.

Okay all the latest update is 3 kits have confirmed sold, 2 interested parties have decided its not for them and another 4 are still tossing up currently.

An excellent start to this project especially given the thread hiccups etc I have experienced.

That you gotta have the rims to fill out this bad boy....other wise it will look apsolutly half hearted. So estimate another 2 - 3 k....And please people do not use spacers and get proper DISH!!!

 

Can you give us a update

On whos in and how many kits are still up for grabs? I might get a loan for this piece of hotness.

 

As it stands at the moment only 1 kit is available.

I have three confirmed buyers with another 4 interested (reserved) but yet to confirm.
