"Z" - Dash Trim Kit - "Z"

...............here is a photo of a Dash Trim Kit in Brushed Aluminum fitted to a customers Zed in NZ. He did a great job of fitting it too.:zlove: It goes well with his steering wheel.

How do these look in real life from different angles etc.? Do they look "cheap" or actually fairly realistic to the eye? They look nice in the photo, but hard to tell.

Also, I know you don't set the pricing on the CF ones being 30% dearer, but do you know why they are? Are they different from say the brushed aluminum ones? Or are they just a different pattern that's been printed on?

......a different pattern that runs right through the material costing more to manufacture to get that Real Carbon Fibre look. If you look up the thread on the 3 Gauge Dash Housing in The For Sale by Businesses section you will see a close up of the Carbon Fibre Kit fitted. That one is the same price as the others, except for the REAL Carbon Fibre and the SILVER Carbon Fibre Confusing, isn't it?

i dont suppose you have a pic of what any of the wood grain ones look like ?

.......I do not at this time, have any photos of wood grained kits fitted to a Zed.

hey bro is it hard to fit it or is it juz a glue thinggy ?

 

It's 3M double-sided tape. You just stick it on (though you heat up the edges to get them around curves so you need a heat gun/hair dryer).

 

....also, make sure that.......

.......the two pieces that go over the air vents adjacent to the windscreen are really stick down well If not, and if you leave your Zed in the Hot sun for an extended period of time, the pieces may lift.
