    Re coilovers

.....I am just making sure which type of coilovers you want. The lowest cost ones that are Spring Rate 12F and 7R are NOT Pillow Ball Mounts. Is that OK? If you want Pillow Ball Mount Coilovers they go to 12F and 9R. for a few more $'s. Still lower than G4 in cost though. ;) Please advise:) Paul.

    Hi Paul

I'll be looking at new suspension in a little while too, I noticed in another thread you mentioned the pillow ball mount with camber adjustment was available for the Z, but then someone has mentioned that they won't work and you need adjustable camber arms because of the style of suspension? Can you copy and paste the pm you sent Ben and clarify this for me too please?

    Ta.

    i'll send payment....

also PM you with delivery adress and required spring rates...

    ...OK...BUT....

....... Hey man whatever you want.:) However, why is it that certain Coilover Companies do advertise that their coilover pillow ball mount suspension kits are available for the Z32?????? For example Tein??

.........maybe someone else out there who is more knowledgeable than I, can clear this one up;)

    bit of confusion here

Think you'll find the pillow ball mounts for the z32 dont have camber adjustment, note the 'product may vary depending on vehicle' line under the pictures of the pillowball mounts? well ours is one of the vehicles where it varies.

So to sum up there wont be camber adjustment via the pillowball mount.

However the main reason people opt for pillowball mounts is because it tightens up the suspension & makes it all more responsive. Theres a reason all the big name companies fit their high end coilovers with pillowball mounts.

Mine will have pillowball mounts & I would suggest yours should too.

    cheers, tim

Pillowball upper mounts are designed to offer greater feed back by eliminating the deflection in OEM rubber bushings. A NWB spherical bearing is used in place of the rubber bushing, which allows for improved tire grip and more accurate wheel alignment. :zlove:
As Tim says ,go the pillowball mount if you want the full value of coilovers
