"Z" - 3" Dump Pipes are coming......

    Do you have any pics of them fitted? From the pics it appears the main pipe is a bit larger than other split flange designs -definately a plus for me. I'm in the market for 5-bolt dumps but they have to be a good fit ie close to the body for maximum ground clearance.

    US and Jap zeds do NOT have different power

    outputs. In Japan the largest power figure they are allowed to ADVERTISE is 280hp. A Jap manual TT will have exactly the same power output as a US manual TT whether the Yanks are allowed to advertise the extra 20 hp or not. This is a continual misconception on this forum. Jap or US, a TT manual had 300 hp at the flywheel stock.

    That said I only got my exhaust completely redone last year so will see how we go...

    Disregard this. My searching found information that they believed to be true, but was just a misconception because most of the clips they got to the US were from auto Z's, or auto Z's that have been converted to manual.

    Both auto and manual, JDM and USDM alike have TB02/22.
    Auto's have exhaust housing AR of 0.54.
    Manuals exhaust housing AR 0.63.

    The cams are likewise different between the manual and auto's, but I don't have information regarding their specs.

    Interested

    in the 2.5" 5 bolt aluminized steel pipes down pipes, to fit 2560R or 2860RS garretts, not sure if the exhaust side is the same five bolt configuration on these, can anyone confirm? Can you get these sts?
