Im sure there's good reason why not..... but I'll ask anyway...... Given Supercharging is one of the popular paths for the 350Z.....why dont people just SC the NA Z32's, rather than doing TT swaps?
has been covered a bazillion times before BUT: - space restricions - either making a new pulley to run all ancillaries (air con, alt. etc) or dropping one...usually air con. - zed didn't come with a SC so a lot of custom fab is necessary - turbos are more efficient and there is much more room for power - SC's of any decent power output are either hideously expensive and/or massive physically I myself considered this as an option at one point, but decided against it.

yeah assumed there must be good reasons. I guess given a TT engine was made for the same car (unlike the 350Z), the SC option just isn't worth it, when a quicker alternative fits from factory.
yeah I think see how quick you can get it N/A then do a swap or whatever you want, the first run I ever did in my 300zxTT was a 15.3, SO SHIT, But by the end of the days 8 runs I got down to 14 flat and then the next time I ran a 13.7 stock, just had fat ruber for grip, Your doing Bloody well for High 14 with a N/A 300zx witch are Heavy bitches. Many youg fellas come out to race with falcadores with v8s in them and mods and lighter that you 300 is and get 15/16 seconds, (You havent seen the light) we say to them

The Slot Car is down to about 1245kg without driver. Still has a tough and reliable UAS built, although heavy, VG30DETT. It has not left the engine bay for over 4 years, with lots of racing. With VQ30 motor we are working on it will save over 100kg off the front end. Then with a planned carbon tail gate and Polly Carbonate window, will save about 50kg or more, so it will be down under 1100kg. We are also working on a more streamline front bar, with much better downforce, and lighter stronger carbon fibre, it will be about 8kg lighter off front end replacing the braced heavy current one. We have been adding lead weights to left rear to balance it out, and soon to have more.
Im hopping i will get in to the 13's , i have my zed for about 6 years and im planning to keep it for another 10 no plans on going down the tt path ever (i just dont like turbos ,flame suite on! ) i will spend as much as i can afford to make my n/a quite fast one thing i share with the unique zed slot car is the weight mine is about the same 1250kg and hopefuly get it down another 100kg more
I agree with lowzx here. You've been saying the same rubbish for the last 3 years with all these claims for NA greatness. Uber weight saving and NA power yet there's very little substance to all these claims. Every time someone asks how you plan on doing all these things or if you got proof of such lightness, you come up with nothing. Where did you pull the 1250kg from? Is this your estimate? You can see why he's giving you flak simply because you got nothing to back up any of these claims. I could say my NA 2+2 NA weighs 1400KG, less than a a stock NA slicktop but doesn't make it true especially with nothing to back it up with. Once I lose the stock rear wing on mine and get a hollow fibreglass wing on I'll get it weighed. Until then I'm not going to go talking rubbish about how light I think it is or how fast I think it will go. You've gone and contradicted yourself again...don't like turbos ey? So why did you buy a TT? There is so much inconsistencies in everything you post it's hard for one to tell fact from fiction.
