    Hey all,

Unfortunately it seems someone tried pulling my drivers side window out so that they could get into my car, and in the process they managed to break the "window guide" , the lil metal guide that runs up the side of the frame and keeps the window tensioned so that it seals right up against the rubber. Well as a result now water just seeps straight through!!!

Not happy:mad: very very mad actually:mad: Now I think I have to replace the whole window right? Can someone please shed some light?:zlove:

    Cheers,

    reggie

think it's just a nylon stopper at the end of the runner pin

that you will need to replace, there is a Tech article about fixing a stuffed window runner. Check it out.

Does anyone know if the window has to come out for the slider/guide thingy on the window to be put back on?

    IB ?????

I've replaced my guide. It was so long ago that I can"t remember exactly how I did it but I'm sure I didn"t remove the glass from the door.

I think you can remove the track that the guide runs in.

Hmmm, I have taken the inside door trim off and it seems like a B^#%* to get to, I just dunno how it can be done, does anyone know of any places in brisbane (hopefully not to pricey) that can fix that?

    I'm replacing EVERY window component

on drivers side and just the guides etc on the passenger side. Will do a tech article soon. I am getting everything from Conceptzperformance.com.
