As most people replace the standard filter with a POD filter, I'm sure someone in your local area will have a standard filter lying around somewhere. Why not borrow it to get the roadworthy. What you do ater that is up to you. Cheers, Peter

Ring the Deartment of Transport and ask to speak to a vehicle inspector. I am sure a pod filter is fine. When I was inspected after a defect, It was passed no problem. As long as you still have the AFM attached, so the ECU receives the input is what is important. Ring them if you want/need to clarify.
that sucks, but the bumper is not that difficult to take off, i still havent gone to a pod filter set up because i was unsure of the legality, But, for a safety certificate i didnt think it would matter, i sailed through 2 safety certificates with BOV's and a few other things
good news....i found a guy who doesnt care bout the pod filter...and a few other small things.....except they made me get lighter tint.....cos mine was so illegal lol
