Where are hood pins situated?

    Hi guys,
I'm in the market for a vented hood, and the ones that I like lack provisions for hood pins (i.e. no pre-drilled holes,) which means that I'm left to my own devices. Where exactly do these pins latch on to underneath the hood?

Is the location of the pins in the following pic the norm? Shouldn't the pins be a bit farther down to where the middle of the chassis brace would be?

No aftermarket hoods come with predrilled holes to my knowledge, just put them wherever you like. Just find a bunch more pics of Z's with aftermarket hoods and see what the norm is.

Pretty much the same place as the pic of yours, but in the future i gotta change the colour of the pins to silver/black/orange or something...

    thats where mine are

Because the radiator support panel has holes in it there....
That maybe used to have rubber bump stops for the bonnet?

Cops WILL defect you for them unless they are recessed into the bonnet.
