    Hey again guys.

I have a pretty much granny spec ride. 0 mods to her. Apart from a new airfilter which obviously isn't even visible.

I was browsing around for a new set of wheels for the beast and quiet liked the look of these. From what i understand these will fit.

    17 ENKEI EDR9 RIMS WHEEL SILVER 17x8 5x100 5x114.3 +45

    Can anybody confirm that?
Also are there any suggestions for other stylish looking aftermarket wheels.

Do a search on offset. Something at least 8inches up front and 9 out back. Something between 20 and 35 offset

So if the 0ffset is positive by too much they wont fit on?

And what is the offset for standard 300zx rims?

    5x100
Strange size. They don't fit that many cars.
I was looking for a well priced set for the st162 Celica,
but ended up buying a zed, it is a different world now :)

So what else in 5 point style fits the 300zx and doesnt make a problem when fitting in coilovers?

Mine fit and have massive brake clearance. Look at just about any Advans.

They say 5x100 then 5x114.3 so I assume both available.

Op they will fit, will look sunken tho.

I have a set of b45s with 45 offset they sit too far in and hit the front brakes. They are 17*7.5 +45 they also are very close to the suspension so any wider would be worse

Well i reckon they are pretty good. A bit expensive but what can you do about the price right?

How much do you want them to fit?

18x10+20 will require rear guard roll, pull and camber, assuming that there is not bog in your rear guards, you might get them to fit.

    Try 18x10+40.

Got to be the first time I've ever heard rota wheel's described as expensive...

10 +20 is going to be a bit of work, use an offset calculator like the one at 1010tires.com to compare the ones your interested in to stock (7.5" +42) which will give you an idea of how they'll line up with the guards.

Not as expensive if you have a look around

I dont know how to use that filter 0n 1010tires.com

So the general feel is that i should try keep the offset to +40 or around that?

I was under the impression 35 ~ 40 depending on the width of the rim. so yes I suppose.

Are you sure your looking at the right thing, its fairly basic. This is the one I mean, clicky

In the 'current wheel specs' boxes put in 7.5 for width & 42 for the offset (if comparing to stock sizes) then in the new wheels boxes put whatever width & offset your looking at.

So for example your 10" +20 will sit 16mm closer to the suspension & extend 60mm out towards the guard.

The 8" +45 will sit 9mm closer to the suspension & 3mm closer to the guard (ie. will still be pretty sunken).

So with these measurements you can go out to the zed with a ruler & see how much further out the top of the wheel will sit with your current alignment specs.
