Aus spec mirrors don't fold :( Complete bullshit, half the Zs in the country have scrapes on their mirrors. As if we don't need folding mirrors because Australia has so much space :\

I used a air powered palm orbital sander. Like one of these.

Finished off the manual conversion by tucking the clutch line away from everything hot, and re wired the reverse lights :) Then Installed 2k taillights, blue led's in the cluster, hooked up the HID's I got ages ago, and installed my new beer seat :D

Still possible, just replace the mirrors with jap specs and make a second wiring loom with a switch like myself !

Gave my Z a solid washing. I didn't get to drive it last weekend, and the weekend before and the one before that it wasn't together. So it's been sitting collecting dirt for a while now.
Had a good wipe under the bottom of the doors, amazing the amount of crap that comes out of there. I recommend it!

Dont forget up under the hatch lid (near the top near targas). that place I always see gets missed when cleaning.

Only wash outside. Leave zed in shed all locked up. Solved

Yeah got up there too. Couldn't really get under the middle, but I got the flanks up both sides :p They get some dust they do.
    Would kill for a shed.

Cleaned the 2 seater seats, looked very faded, black nylon polyester nitting material or whatever the stitch it is, used 4-5 buckets of hot water on each seat with cold power clothing wash to wash out, didn't scrub seats just poored the water over seats, then used $100 karcher to water blast up close to material, blasted until no more soapy.
Water blaster did an amazing job, the seats look brand new black, didn't damage material at all, dry out side for day & 1/2.
They definately didn't cheap skate on the seat material for the Z's, tough as & resilient. Not bad for 17 year old seats. :)

Replaced the stock wheel with my older momo. Bought the steering wheel in 1988 ( feeling a little old right now ) and it has been on every car I have ever owned.
Car isnt "mine" till the wheel is put on.
