so your going to spend an hour on the side of the road and undo your front bar, when you could whip out your trusty spanner and undo two bolts in the nose panel ? okay lol :p

this. Take the extra 1/2 hour to take it apart and push it over the chassis rail, you'll thank yourself later.

Series 2 550cc JECS', twin feed/return with braided nylon lines and VeilSide oil cap to boot. Also painted the injector caps, 'til I ran out of rattlecan...

Return lines run underneath the opposite rails. Fits like it was meant to.

Are they zip ties holding those EFI lines onto the fuel rail outlet barbs?

  15. Anti

    Anti 14.7 x 14.7 = 44.1

Yes. The hose is fed a solid 3-4 inches past the barb so it's not going anywhere.

So you know what PSI an EFI system runs? It's probably 5-6 times the pressure you run in your car tyres. I wouldn't be taking any gambles here, because if she pops off, you've got an instant inferno which will turn your smooth engine bay into a smooth puddle of molten plastic and alloy.

Fuel system runs approximately 40-50 PSI. It'll hold, I struggled to pull the hose off before the ties were there.

increased pressure will expand the hoses, and may cause enough to blow em off. but hey... only one way to find out :p:rofl:

    What he said.
Even 40 PSI (pounds per square inch) is the rough equivalent of 20KG of force trying to push that hose off it's barb- you probably used less force to push it together! Add any restriction in the return line, and it will just increase that pressure acting on that joint more so.

But at least it looks good man

When your car burns to the ground, can I have your VS exhaust? It will probably be the only bit left to salvage
