And there are a few tricks with the hard-to-get-to bolts that allow easier removal for next time...

Oh yea? Is it just 4 bolts?

no need to pull front bar.
    Remove:- nose panel
    front guard liner
    Corner bar light
    Intake/AFM T-piece and AFM
    Thermo fan
There are 2 x 8mm studs (12mm socket) on either side of the front of the headlight. The front RHS is removed via the nose panel access. The Front LHS is accessed from the bar corner light removal.

Also 2 x 8mm bolts that fix the rear of the headlight in. Rear RHS is a PITA to access... hence the removal of the intake pipe and thermo. It can be seen from within the headlight casing. Rear LHS is access from front guard liner removal. Will have to turn steering hard left/right to give access and push a bit of the loom aside to get your socket on.

Used 1/4" drive socket set for all bolts/nuts with varying extensions and uni bit. This is the pocedure for LHS headlight.... naturally mirror for RHS

Just renewing the coil and injector connectors. Old owner had the twist and tape method.
Not reliable. Spent the last couple of days (taking my time) rerouting the
wires to all come from the back firewall along the centre of the plenum and treeing off from there.
A more secure with solder and shrink wrap and a whole lot more tidier.
Just gotta clean up the green gunk inside the injector socket. :(
Any suggestions?? eg vinigar or CLR.

Small point file and contact cleaner.
Failing that, there is an electronics spray called deoxit which is really good, as it converts the metal oxides into conductive material.

You mean corrosion? You can use some Contact Cleaner type spray cans. Spray it on, then use a small flat head to scrape the contacts lightly, spray again, wait to dry, plug back in.

Can pick that stuff from either Jaycar or Larger Automotive stores, not all that expensive.

I was kinda hoping not having to climb into the engine bay and scratch around.
Tried the contact cleaner, it just appears to "dry" everything out leaving a fine white residue.
The oxide looks like the gunk you get on copper coins, and we all know CLR cleans coins from the Ads :)

Veilside fitted........ it... uhm.... looks good
thats about the only positive thing I can say about it.
Doesnt give half the hardon that $1000 worth of lapdances would. Nice note, just too quiet. In its defence, is only the catback with centre mufflers and rear replacement.... but prefer the SS pipes and Lukey mufflers on the TT Slicktop.

3/4 way through Pioneer dvd player install. Hideaway unit fitted under seat, second unit of unknown function fitted behind dash, HU mounted up and wired in, dual RCA's run and speaker wires run to front awaiting arrival of Bose enclosures. Rear bose fitted with new speakers.

Thanks Ryzan for identifying a few unlabelled wires, and Pioneer were kind enough to email me a Installation manual PDF as well.

Just stopping to take advantage of the mosquito deterrant properties of rum :D

Pick up amp tomorrow, run feed with Jaycar C/B and see if it all works. Gonna be screwed if it doesn't

Also found this in an Altia Rear panel that came from Japan......

    Installation instructions :)
Was remarkably well packaged, even for Jesse Streeter. Little further look shows it was in its original Nissan Box with foam protective inserts. Illumination is perfect.... possibly never fitted..... till yesterday :D
