    Broke it!
Drove the brat to town only to find I have one of those wobbly water pumps fitted.
Water pump bearing disintegrated over an 8km trip. Temp gauge did not move :(
Took it to a mates place and proceeded to strip the front end, just to get to the last two bolts to get the water pump off.
Ordered replacment parts from CZP and wait for the arrival.

May aswell fit the smoked timing covers and polish the water pipes while its appart.

I like :) I bought a set of polished water pipes from Procky just to save myself the trouble, but the CAS bracket I'll have to do. Unless you're selling on an exchange basis...?

Got me stuffed. All the motors I have, have got the Mitsubishi CAS.
NOW I know what makes our cars unreliable, bitsofshitty parts.

Pretty sure all z32 CAS's are Mitsubishi units

Mitsubishi don't just make cars. Ever heard of a small company called Mitsubishi Electrics? They only employ over 100,000 people worldwide.

Graham all the CAS's were manufactured by Mitsubishi Electrics as far as i know...i was just joking lol

However i have only ever seen 2 zeds with CAS's that didnt have the Mitsubishi badges on them. So maybe they shaved it off or was an aftermarket unit.

Detuning the car, removed the Carbing front strut bar, Powertrix carbon throttle cover & a brake master cylinder brace, Nismo oil filler, radiator & fuel caps.
Got it on stands as will be removing the front suspension: Tein HA's, adjustable upper arms, D2 adjustable caster rods & R33 GT-R Brembo's & stainless brake lines.

You need to show us pics of your car before you starting pulling it apart! Maybe I'm too late already?

started the first bit of "engine bay cleanup" on the zed.

did a fuel line reroute and hard pipe delete.

Added a powertrix strut brace (thanks Rod!) and removed the ebay one

    relocated some vacuum lines.

Still alot of work to do....
