What going on in WA with all the zeds

our should i say whats not going on.Come on people on the forum it says there are 174 WA members and as i was looking back at past cruz date,all that would so was 5 to 10 zeds and thats on a good day.This would have to be the worst Zed fundom state in Australia,now im not trying to piss people off just trying to rev you all up for the best cruz that the west has ever seen maybe the best ever in Australia.
Lets get it all together and have a huge day of Zed fundom peoples:YD :-Z >D<

 

Actually I reckon WA sounds cool

and then only 2 or 3 show :YD i think i will try and set a date for a 300 show over here at one of the many sporting feilds we have.

But my Zed probably won't get back for 4 or 5, but after that I'm definately in for a cruise, it's been a year since I was last in WA for a cruise!Cheers,

Cruise planned for 17th April

First cruise I have organised. Maps will be available within the week. Late afternoon to early evening cruise takig in the coast and some of the city night spots. (details in the events discussion forum).I too was not happy with the number of zed cruises/events (mainly because most of the events were track days and I won't be doing that for a while yet). So what do you do?You get off yer butt and organise a cruise/event as that is a sure fire way of getting these things happening. Took my idle self a while to figure out :-0 Cheers

Unfortunately I'll have to wait until I get my Zed...which will be around 6 months or so. But as soon as I get it I'll be looking forward to going on some cruises with you guys. I noticed as well there are a lot of WA members on here but only a few regulars visit. Shame really. I think when you advertise a cruise you need to give them more incentive...like "FREE BEER!" I bet they'll come once they see that!

If you want to organise then go ahead, get ppls attention and make a video/take pics of the day.Now as for the worst 'Zed fundom' state in Australia I think you might be mistaken. We get up to quite a bit of fun here, would be happy to show you some of the videos if you like. Maybe a mini tech day with wind-up cruise would be a good thing given this sensational weather we've been having lately? The reason this is good for me is my zed is the biggest model car I've ever had atm with parts everywhere, but great fopr others to see what goes where, etc etc. Just won't be back in the shed for another 2-3 weeks yetWho's keen?

Yep not much happens in Perth.
I went on the last cruise organised by Franz and only 3 turned up. A bit poor for 174 members, but it was still a good day.
Unfortunatly I'll miss the next on as I will be stuck on site for a shutdown :N( .

i just got home from a track day held on an old Air Force air strip..... 2 zeds were there (me and franz)..... last weekend there was a track day at Collie - 3 zeds were there (me, franz and dan).... come down to MC Motorsport pretty much any weekend and you'll see a zed! almost every weekend this year ive done a motorsport event..... so has franz....as for the cruises... i find everyone wants a cruise, but when one is organised - no one shows.... its all good to bitch and moan, but unless people show up theres no point organising one.::Risk::

Where have you been...

...there is barely a weekend where I'm not doing something car/zed related!!! As Risk has already said, autokhana at the old air force base in Caversham yesterday, last weekend a track day at Collie... need I go back more weeks?This weekend, theres Drag Combat on the Sat(I've entered, but don't think I will compete due to the sorry stage my clutch is in!). On Sunday, MC Motorsport teams event is on which Risk (and possibly myself)is competing in. In terms of cruises.... Last cruise I organised we get 3 zeds... the cruise before that when Jason was in Perth had a poor turnout aswell and ended up getting scrapped. Doesn't take an Einstein to work out that if nobody is going to bother coming, why bother organising!If you wanna know when/if something is on, gimme a call mid week as then I'd have a fair idea of whats happening that weekend if not further into the future. Agree Risky and Franz - even i showed

up at an MC track event on a sunday - in my dads Magna. I didnt compete or anything, but it shows that you dont need a Zed to get to an event or cruise! Iv showed up to every cruise since mid 2003 without a car - dont make excuses then complain that things arent organized!Hey Franz, these Drag Wars sound good man, any details? Are we allowed to spectate?
