We are proud to announce the arrival of our new InjectorMAX carbon cleaning machine. This new machine has only been on the market for four weeks and we are one of the first workshops to get our hands on this machine in WA. Our new hardware enables us to provide our customer's with cutting edge induction, injection and carbon cleaning services.
We now offer two new services which benifit our engines in many ways.

We have already had great reports of increased fuel economy, dyno proven power gains, smoother cruising conditions and crisper idle results.
We have broken our services down into two great packages. One being the Carbon Clean and the other being an Induction Service. Please read on below for the differences between the two services, both price and procedures.

A carbon clean is a process where carbon deposits are broken down and flushed through the motor, cleaning your cylinder heads, valves, piston crowns and combustion chambers. Carbon can build up on these parts of the engine no matter how the car has been treated over the years. Carbon buildup is found in almost every car, especially if it has been subject to rich fuel mixtures at any time of its life.

The pictures below illustrate the carbon build up in a Z32 engine with 88,000km's on the odometer.

    [IMG][IMG][IMG]

As you can see, this build up of carbon inside the engine can rob your engine of power, cause a decrease in fuel economy, a hunting/unstable idle and more importantly; cause issues such as pre-ignition (detonation) due to 'carbon hot-spots' on the crown of the piston. Carbon build up on valves and valve seats can also cause lower compression in some motors, and we all know that we like numbers above 150psi for a TT motor!

    How does it work??

We use our brand new Injector MAX machine to deliver a mixture of fuel/cleaning solvent into the fuel rail. The fuel from the vehicle is looped back into the tank and the car runs off the machine for approximately 20 - 30mins.

In this time, the cleaning solvent flushes the fuel rail and injectors. Just as fuel is injected into the motor during normal operation, the cleaning solution is injected into the heads, cleaning the valves, combustion chamber, pistons, etc. Our solvent dislodges the carbon build-up and is burnt up in the combustion process.

How do I benifit from the carbon clean?

Here are some of the benifits that we have seen after the PZP carbon clean:
    • Improved engine performance
    • Improved fuel economy
    • Smoother driving
    • Crisper idle
    • Dyno proven performance gains

    Can this harm my engine?

    The short answer.... No!

The injector max solvents are 100% safe, they have been tested and certified as 02 sensor safe, O-Ring/Seal safe and will not damage your catalytic converters when the by products exit the vehicle. Carbon build-up will not damage the internals of the engine as it is softened and burnt in the combustion chamber during the cleaning process.

How much does the carbon clean cost and how long does it take?

The PZP carbon clean is $249 including GST. We are happy to announce that the first 10 customers to walk through the door will receive this service for only $199! The service will take approximately 1 hour from drop off to pick up. We always have drifting DVD's playing in our show room to entertain you while you wait, or there are coffee shops close by. :)

How do I book my car in?

We are open Monday - Friday (8.30am to 5pm) and Saturday (8.00am to 12pm). Bookings can be made by phoning 0438 843 467 or email info@perthzperformance.com.au
PZP recommends that a carbon clean should be done every 12 months.

PZP also offer a new Induction Service for a low price of $99 inc. GST.

If you clean the carbon from your cylinder heads, valves, etc... why can't you clean the build up of oil and dirt in the intake manifolds too? A normal carbon clean can not do this as the cleaning solutions are injected at the bottom of the lower plenum. This leaves you with a clean 'bottom end' but the top half misses out! Our new induction service uses our injector max machine to feed a different cleaning solution into the intake manifold, washing the dirt, grease and grime from the upper and lower intake manifold.

This service is great for a six monthly clean up of your intake manifolds and will help in keeping your Z clean and tidy on the inside. Please note that this service is not a 'carbon clean'. It will clean some carbon deposits built up in the manifolds but it's sole function is to clean the intake manifolds of dirt and oil build up.

We have created a little youtube video for you to watch the induction service in progress. The solution is fed into the intake manifold (again, different from a carbon clean) and you can actually see all of the dirty oil being burnt up and exit the exhaust!

My apologies for the poor quality video (both acting and professionalism). We really rushed to get out a demonstration of our new product!
