I did this a couple of weeks ago, putting on a good barbecue is the trick to it really.

To be honest if you plan before hand and make printouts of all your tech articles you will be fine. As for what you need, it really depends what you want to do while your plenum is off. I did a PCV reroute as per JT's article, a search under his name and PCV will find that for you, I got my injectors cleaned too and replaced lots of old hoses and such. Zed For Life has a decent shopping list on his website. On top of that I would get plenty of fuel line and silicone hose in various sizes (4 and 6 mm I think) get more than you need, left overs in much better than not enough, and plenty of good hose clamps too. I was scratching around for these all day when we were putting everything back together. Don't put any of your old hoses back in, while it is out you may as well replace them all with new ones. This also means that anything that is hard to get off you can just cut.

Another thing we found very handy was to have a similar car parked right near the one we were working on so any time we were not sure about anything we could just go over to the other car to look.

Lots of silicone spray is handy to get hoses on and off, and mechanics gloves so you can grip the hoses to get them on and off once you have doused them in silicone spray. :p

Have plenty of throttle body cleaner spray and degreaser on hand too.

There was probably lots more stuff but I can't remember at the moment. Feel free to ask if you want to know anything else.

    Hey AK,

P/P is quite easy. You realise you'll need to get your car tuned for the new injectors before you go driving it.

    Cheers,
    Dave.

if its a sunday after 11.00 or so, or sat after 1 ill come round

done 6 0r 7 of these not to hard really, just a few tricks to the whole thing thats all......as always lol
ive never fitted injectors before though, you will need the appropriate o-rings for the rail and also the correct torque settings for when you replace them back into the rail/plenum, to tight and you'll pinch tear the o-ring, to loose and it will leak
give me the heads up and ill help all i can

then youll just need the injector o-rings that sit

on the end of the injector and seal between the lower plenum and injector body....

not sure i reckon nissan themselves, or try repco or covs or something

just ask for the bottom oring for the injectors, i think they are usually green?
