    i want 12's ;)

If a stock TT on boost is running 13's, I want 12's

Also thinking hiflow T28's is not the best setup but i need to look into this. They spool way too late.

Anyway...... see what next year brings.

Car felt awsome again this morning in the nice cool air with a cold clutch lol.
Car is hitting and holding aournd 10psi according to the boost guage (Autoguage) so i dont think i can blaim boost leaks either

No smell of coolent which is what my 180sx rewarded my efforts with last year lol (warped head) so yeah, today is a good day
Told you i'd perk up ;)

So this year ill see if i can afford to start fixing the little cosmitic things like seals etc, while planning the evolution ;)

yeah was a quick one. Also i watched the uncompressed version this morning and i hadn't stuffed up the end, so thats something Windows Movie Maker has done when i used it for compression to WMV. Very odd.

This is my fave of all my edits.

    Timeslip?

Post up a timeslip or tell us your 60ft and MPH which will help determine where the time is lost. Good stuff getting out there and having a go, gives you something to beat next time you go back.

your sig gives me hope :D

And here was i writing my "for sale" thread (no joke... but dont worry.... I just couldn't click the submit button lol)

My time slips were as follows
    1st run
    14.020 seconds
    terminal speed 152.45 kph
RT 1.243 (lol we really didn't realise it had gone green so just floored it haha)
    60' 2.138
    330' 5.872
    660' 9.061
    660' speed 124.57kph
    1000' 11.735
    result WIN :D

my worst time was over 18 coz of mnissing 3rd so i just gave up and cruzed up the 1/4

    2nd worst was
    14.891
    TS 154.40kph
    RT 0.363
    60' 2.592
    330' 6.664
    660' 9.927
    660' speed 122.71kph
    1000' 12.635
result WIN :D (just... damn close that supra... funny story... ok another time)

and ill post this one as its my fastest terminal speed
    14.889
    TS 163.10kph
    RT 0.215
    60' 2.706
    330' 6.777
    660' 9.959
    660' speed 124.11 kph
    1000' 12.652
    result LOSE :(

Also... tips on launch would be awsome
first launch was just "shit its green"

2nd launch was at 4.5K and she bogged BAD

3rd launch was at 5K and she bogged and didn't spin

I JUMP off the clutch and dont ride it, but clutch was smelling bad

I still maintain bad clutch, coz even trying a "how id launch on the street" launch (thinking thats probably what i did in panic mode first run), it didn't help and all launches just felt shit

    All help appreciated.

    HEY HEY HEY..............
Looking at the track temps yesterday
    38.6c
    41.6c
    43.4c
    37.8c
    37.0c
    blah blah blah

Track temp when i got my 14.980 in the 180sx last year?
    20c

Explains why even though I was doing shit, I was still handing out the chop too more cars than last year too

    Feeling better

    All is forgiven zed ;)

Your first 60' wasn't bad. My fastest of the night was high 2.2s

If I had managed a 2.138 I would have cruised into the 13s easy.

1st run 60ft not too bad, did you drop the tyre pressures right down? The terminal speed seems low. Have you had it dynoed? Maybe just a hot night robbing you of some power but usually a stock TT will trap at least 104MPH (168-170kph). You should definately be holding 3rd if your terminal speed is under around the 107MPH mark. I ran plenty of low 13's without going to 4th when I had the stock diff gears. As far as launching goes every car is different, too many variables like clutch type, tyres etc. Really just have to find what works for your car, need to find the sweet spot in the rev range between bogging down and wheelspin. If your clutch is good then a bit of clutch slip on launch will help avoid wheelspin, give it as much power as you can while keeping it just under the point of wheelspin.
