Hey all, Does anyone have these on their zed? If so, what is the offset, where did you get them and for how much? Is there any difference between a NA and a TT? Thanks ChantiZ
hi mate... great choice of wheel... they look great! could only find one pic in my zed folder looks great BUT... make sure you have your car suitably lowered or it will look tacky. have a look at nismo LMGT4's and BEE*R racing wheels. they both have a very similar design, personally i would go with the BEE*R's if i could find a pair. I found a nice r32 4door with these yesterday and they looked awesome super aggressive spokes! ***EDIT- didnt know UAS sell the BEE*R wheels.... The white or the bronze ones are awesome. Love em but too exxy for wheels just on looks (Just under $4000 for the set new) - plus someone will want to steal them and if you get gutter rash etc etc. But if you can get em cheap then do it! A Nice Alternative is Work Emotion XD9's - under $2,500 for the set new. Volk CEN28N Similar thing.... not sure what brand
I would love to but i cant find the money. Maby in a few months i will get a set of enkei's or something.
just save the money... if you look on yahoo japan you'll find a nice set with decent offsets for around 3k shipped through streeter. better off waiting an extra month or so, get the wheels you want and only have to fork out the dosh once.
what's the point...I mean honestly? Are girls going to have sex with you because you have $4000 rims?? And then add tyres to that as well...i'd be too scared to take my car out of the garage. I'd go these DTM 'rush' ones from UAS 7 spokes as opposed to 6 but in the right offset the spokes have the same inward slope as the te37 http://www.300zx.com.au/pricelists/pricelist_wheels.htm
Wish manufactures would have the weight of the wheel (or at least sellers) would make it easier and think its a key factor people look at also.
true... but whats the point in building an engine for 400+rwkws, its not going to make girls want to sleep with you. just another part of the project plan i guess, they come in better sizes and offsets, are hell light and look excellent. how many zeds nowadays are running TE37's on the street...
that and the fact that i dont like the idea of building a car and spending a heap of money to attract the ladys...
Well since I am a lady, attracting the ladies is not on my agenda. I've always wanted the bronze set for my zed which is red, but I do also like the black and red time attack version which is apparently very hard to get. There are so many different offsets to choose from and I have absolutely no idea. And I want to be sure if I am buying them. I have a set of R34 wheels which I will be putting on shortly which has the 6 skinnier spokes but i think the Volks look much nicer.
if your definatly keen for a set of TE37's jesse streeter, email dartsun75@gmail.com and ask for a quote. jesse will be able too confirm the available sizes for you but i'm pretty sure they come in a 17x9 +18, it would look very similar to this with those offsets.
