Yes that is a fact in relation to what you see, but your statement that "0" is for a TT is also a theory. There are probably very few TT's that have not had the CB changed is also a fact. So who is right ? That is right we both have our theories. :thumbup:
I had a look at the CB70 variant at Bursons this morning. Where both my TT units measure 104mm as per the above pics, the CB70 only measures around 90mm. So as suspected the CB70 is NA and should not be used on a TT. So it looks like the difference is around 15mm in total bracket height, so probably around 5-10mm difference in bearing centre offset. So the only options for TT are genuine or Hardy Spicer part number NP-30-5820. Oh and Brisz, that's 4 / Nil, you lose, again PS: Mods, this should probably be moved to the tech section?

Correct, that hardy spicer part number is the same as what i have, and it is the correct hight for a TT. Can be had for $110+gst from advanced driveshaft services, WA. Listed on my invoice as item number CNP-30-5820 Thank for you for your help with figuring this out!
The main issue with CB70 is that the bolt holes are offset compared to OEM. If installed without enlarging the holes will angle the 2 pieces driveshaft on horizontal plan and shake like hell. all the rest is fine: height, overall diameter. I have a 2+2 tt an d compared both. nissan OEM is stamped with 0 and the rubber ring is stamped 37521-33p00. whatever when installing a new bearing, measure the offsets at u-joint with the driveshaft on the car and the bearing bolted on.
CB70 has white marks where you need to enlarge the holes, at least for TT 2+2 (the prop shaft is slightly offset to the passenger side in the tunnel). Others are Nissan OEM.
This is a nice visual comparison and can clearly see the difference between them. Thank you for sharing I too have gone with one piece option, after all the shaking dramas (even after replacing the centre bearing, and most likely the wrong one fitted ) and have never looked back since.
