What can you recommend for a Saturday night? Ive got holidays next week so my g/f and I are going to go for a cruise (ocean not z) from Freo to Melbourne. Going to stay in Melbourne on saturday night so the g/f can get some shopping and girl crap done. Can people recommend good places to go, things to do on a saturday/sat night in Melbourne? Ive only ever been there once before, and that was playing sport so didnt get to see too much of the city.
Especially interested in good recommendations for nightclubs.

correct. It is a shame to see Salt have that

name, i mean it was always pretty bad 'dealing/fight' wise but after speaking to some of the people involved in that incident, that entire thing was over something so silly that it shouldn't have ever happened.
