WA Tech Weekend 19 & 20th March

I know i previously mentioned that I had no plans of doing work to my car, but does anyone feel like helping me remove an auto gearbox valve body on Sunday? Just need to swap in a standard valve body and remove the shift kitted one.

It shouldn't be too long a job... Will need to remove the exhaust to do it though. If there are a number of big jobs planned and we don't get to it it's fine.

Either way i am more than happy to help everyone else out, even if we don't get around to doing this.

 

Will anyone have any new 2k spec rear light up for sale around this time?
Cause I will defanitely buy a set cash if they do... And fit them that day too...!

 

I think the only way you'll get them new is from CZP

Worth trying to ask though, but most people don't tend to sell them once they have them.

lol. I don't think you grasp what is involved with a 2J swap. Anyway we'll talk on Sat.

 

Assuming your going to do the 2JZGTE swap couldn't you just get a engine/wiring harness and ECU from a mk4 supra?

If I were to spend five digits doing anything to my z's engine bay it wouldn't be on an engine other than a vg30. :/
