Seeing as the Nissan/Datsun Nationals are being held in QLD this year, thought we (Kitty and me) might do a southern event at Easter (3-6 April 2015).
Looking for expressions of interest to see who would like to go over to Tasmania this Easter for a Supa Cruise.
Details yet to be ironed out, but I will be going over on the 30th march and coming back after Easter.
We already have one going over later that week and staying a week, maybe a bit longer.
Need some ideas to bring together a formula that will work for everyone.

Let us know if ya want ta go !

Summer in Tassie falls on 15 January each year.

Easter could be a tad chiily.......???

that sounds like a nice trip. I'm in Hobart right now and looking forward to a couple of days touring round the island.

I am definitely interested so keep me in the loop

Views over the harbour are spectacular but it is a bit chilly. Dinner at the drunken admiral was great

Would be good to see some cool Zeds down here .
Give the locals a reason to dust off theirs and get them out of the shed.

We will have to pool our resources and knowledge and see if we can't do something interesting for the big island lads.
I don't think we can hire a track, but maybe the drag strip could be a go.
Anyone got connections there who can ask the question?

I'm thinking most of the travellers form here would not risk a track day being so far from home.
I'll be happy just to get down there and meet you guys, and drive around to wake the local's up :)

Looking forward to some of those scallop pies again.

Yeah I have no interest in drags...more just want to meet some of you Tassie crew face-to-face and go for a cruise :)

Craig and I are only planning on having 10 days in total and that includes the trip over and back so really 8 days..to check out Tas :)

I might take some time off about then, it's nice being the boss :D

How about a drive down the west coast?

It's probably the most overlooked place in this state and I highly recommend it to everyone.

I'd be happy to go anywhere really..I'm putting trust in you guys knowing where to go :p

We are definitely coming now, just booked the cruise.
We depart Melbourne on Thursday 2nd of April at 2100 and arrive at 0600 and then depart Tas on Sunday 12th of April at 0900 :)

I'm not expecting a 2 day cruise/event thing, but maybe a day of a catch-up and cruise or something..as we want to spend time checking out the sites.
I guess the next thing we really need to organise is a date for the Zed Catch Up..so we can plan around it with accom etc..as at the moment all I've done is book the ship over and back

I am doing the east coast at the moment. Spent last night in st Helens, did a cruise to wine glass bay and am now having dinner at the Ugly Duck Out in Swansea. Great food and a great cruise

If your heading west from there I can recommend:
    Pyengana Cheese Farm at Pyengana
Derby Historic Town & Tin mines
Legerwood to see amazing carved trees.
the Doll and Bear Cottage at Scottsdale

I have more I can recommend if you want.
