Thanks to Ross for a great venue mate!

What an awesome venue for a tech day (can we use it next time mate:cool: )all we needed was a dyno to play with too LOL. Good to see all the crew and a few new faces! Tried tightening my leaky dump pipes but alas the gasket is gone, post some pics tomorrow. Cruise time again now to make use of all that good work. Xmas cruise anyone:D .

Hey Ross, you are forgetting yourself for setting the

day up in the first place - WELL DONE!! I had a great day, as I always do at tech days, talking to a great group of enthusiasts and getting to know about our cars a little more. Great food and good weather as well (for a change - usually rains!). Thanks for having me. Cheerz. Clive.

Brilliant day from my perspective....up until this point I havent made the effort to meet some of the lovely characters from our little community...but I'm glad I rocked up this time. Cheers go out to Bigbaz for running a Conzult diagnostic (which she passed with flying colours:D ) and to Matt for showing me the ropes when it comes to that most basic of automotive procedures, the oil change...and of course Ross for organising the whole thing. All in all just fantastic to be around people who share a similar passion for the Zed. Anyway thanks for putting up with me and I'll be sure to make it to the next Sydney cruise.

    Cheers, Adam

It was a great day in all just wishing I could have spent more time there and lent a hand with some of the jobs.

Big THANKYOUto Ross for allowing the use of the unit it was an absolute dream venue plenty of parking and space inside too. Thanks MikeMD for the food (hope i got it right) and a mention to the top guns of the day Wizard and Andymac who seemed to be running from car to car doing what they do best.

Apart from the rain scare (left my T tops at home) all went well and I think most got the jobs done. Tokyo Geoff found the centre gauge pod to be a bit of a hassle and hopefully got it sorted. Caz was sorting the Caz mobile ready for drag warz next saturday.

Here is some random pics of all the busy bees.

    Yep a tops day

Apart from the fun of installing my gauges (THANKS MZM) it really is nice to sit around and chat to such a diverse but wonderful gang!

As I get older I really appreciate friendships more and the friendships I have made because of the Zed just make life so much more fun!

Cheers all and Thanks Ross, Wiz, Jason, Caz, Alvin, Byron, Mike, and everyone that sat in my car at one stage or anorther while I excavated open cut mines in the dash to get the bloody things to fit.

In particular where would be beloved Zed be without the MZM founder Wiz the wiz!

    Cheers and thanks

    TECH DAY...

MAN, what a great day!! Thanks Ross, for all the organising and setting-up of a terrific venue...remember, people, this is the site of a normal, busy, industrial complex and to clear it out to handle the number of cars we had inside (not to mention the fabulous parking outside...with room to spare!!) involved a lot of work! Thanks Ross! We even had kitchen facilities for the cooking!! Hope I didn't poison anyone with the snags...!!
BIG thanks to Wizard, AndyMac, Byron (who finally diagnosed my diagnostic plug for me!), Wokburner, and all the other guys (we MUST start wearing nametags for oldies like me who are hopeless with names! Sorry!) who helped with jobs on the day.
Tokyo Geoff took on an instrument binnacle install (with help from Wizard Ron...a statement that could be added to many a job on the day!) and got the intricate job done by end of day - just hope the Velcro tags hold up, Geoff! The gorgeous Caz was flat to the boards all day on her car (with help from Wiz...etc!) preparing for "DragWarz" at WSID next weekend (18th). Could be a great day out for the Zed crew to make a statement out there and give 'Our Girl' some support as well??? Go for 11s, Caz...!!!
Thanks HenryH and ZX2NVfor the pics...wish you'd missed me, tho'!!
To all who turned up, I'm sure you all had a good time...thanks Ross and BigBaz for such a great Tech Day!!...I still reckon we should think about our own Zed workshop...if only on a part-time basis!!??

    Best Tech Day

Congratulation to Ross and bigbaz for organising the TechDay, I should say that this is the best tech day I have come across so far with the number of cars involved and the amount of work achieved and the many helping hands.
Good on you and all the participants.

I had planned on mucking around with my cats but i discovered that they have actually been welded on  , ended up doing my BOV's instead and it was good to get some help from everyone around and see how other people had installed theres.

see thats the sorta venue we need here...

i was going to buy an old doctors building a year ago, had a house out the back and doctors ward at the front, so a front granny flat, renovate it and that, had some mint parking that would have been perfect for tech days...

plus we were going to convert the operating room into the master... hahaha

would freak people out abit thou....

"hey! this is a cool master!"

"yes.... 17 people died in this room........ *evil laugh"
