tassuperkart Its a lie I tell you!

Your using much the same combo as me save for the spring rates.
Mine are Tien and a kilo or so up at each end. My ride height is about 20mm lower at both ends and the car is compliant and smooth over lumps and bumps.
This extra spring actually exploits the damping settings on the GR-2's over "whoopdees" but more sharper and smaller bumps are handles quite well indicating too little low speed extension damping to me. Easpecially on the back end.
High speed damping is pretty good tho and that matters more than some strange chassis movements in my view!!!

Its reasonably responsive and pushes to a gentle sledge when really worked hard if not "backed in". However, these are done at speeds well beyond the "go to jail" level and that does not happen much!!!
However, this sledging is prolly more a function of tyres with somewhat lesser grip and more flexible sidewalls along with a very tame alignment on the front than a fundamental suspension issue.
The 275 Federals on the back can be pushed into a slide but this needs quite a bit of provoking!

Its a remarkably good setup for a bargain basement arrangement and I can highly reccommend it for almost all road users.

    misszen Red ones go faster!

The vast majority of you will be Im sorry to say, and that includes me, despite the fact i have been researching/playing with this stuff for more years than i care to remember in pursuit of speed in my race cars!!!!

Its totally a black art and despite all the theory in the world pointing to a particular setup, its NEVER that cut and dried. NOTHING is certain and one simple change can have significant effects, both positive and adverse on almost every other facet of the suspension setup!

    Aint that the truth!

Aye its true with the tyres I did swap to new rims and tyres, the tyres are garbage for the corners as I've noticed they do have flexible sidewalls and ended up being more suited to drag tyres so I've read from reviews (also says only for use within the united states lol) but yeah I don't mind my setup, just need a lot better tyres again like I've used previously. :D

Tyres are a largely ignored, but very important part of the suspension puzzle and different cunstruction techniques, along with tread patterns and so-on can completely change the behaviour of a given suspension setup..
Is often why some guys will wax lyrical and pull themselves to pieces over a particular tyre and then the next guys will say thay are rubbish and feck them off not that long after fitting them!

All is not as it seems!!!!
