Weird, mine barely reach the mounting point in the nose panel, and that's stretching the cables pretty tight to make it reach. Looks like I'll have to cut some wires and extend it, *sigh*.
Any ideas on how the H1 HIDS are supposed to be retained in the reflectors? The OEM H1s globes have the spring retaining clip as part of the bulb, whereas the HIDs are shaped correctly, but have no retention mechanism on them. Have I got part of the assembly missing perhaps??? Can anyone that has done the H1s elaborate?
H1 HIDS are installed and running. I'll post up the results and pics and videos later in ZR-Technical. Waiting for it to get dark so I can get the rest of the pictures.
7500K is NOT better lighting for the conditions you drive in(it's blue light, not white). 5000K is the maximum you need for improved vision.:zlove::zlove:
I would definately not go 7500K! I have 6000K and they are absouletly hopless in the wet at night (as weird as that sounds ) If I was to get HID's for the high beams I would go for a 5000K at the highest.
yeah,, i don't drive any country road so i just put 10000k for hi beam for show off only..and 8000k for foggy, but best colour for foggy is golden.
looks like im up for some low beam HIDS. what set did you sell pexzed? 5000k im after a white light no blue tinges etc
Go to ZR Technical and see the video I posted. You can see the colour of 6000k and 5000k. As Simon has said many many times, 4300k is white white.
as with simmo, is this GB still open? i'd be keen for a set, pickup in perth? will drive out together simmo!
How about an Update Ben How about an update on who's paid & the expected arrival time of the HID's. I haven't heard a word outta ya since I PM'ed to notify you about the payment.
