    Hey guys, how's it going
Looking for the stock h pipe resonator section and the two stock mufflers. I'm not sure if there's a difference between TT and NA diameter in the pipes but if so I'm chasing the TT. Ok/good condition if possible. Prefer postage from Qld but will consider interstate if not too expensive. Cheers

Good luck finding a set in usable condition. They are pushing 32 years old now!

I agree with Chrispy. Oem mufflers and H pipes etc were so expensive that 99% of people either bought aftermarket stuff or got it made up by their local exhaust place.

Your only hope of finding genuine stuff is if somebody religiously took it to their local Nissan dealer for everything that ever needed to be done o_O

Yeah it was a long shot I know, I'm just thinking of having a quiet drone free exhaust again and the stock system I thought of, like when I bought it.

The second hand stuff I've seen is still very expensive, I've strayed off the reverting back to the stock exhaust idea now. H pipe section is easy enough to make up but not sure what mufflers yet or wether to reduce the exhaust down in diameter or keep it 2.5" and play around with different setups to try get it quieter.

Assuming your zed is fairly stock and running sub 14psi, stick with 2.5” …… available everywhere and a myriad of cats and mufflers to choose from (at a reasonable price)

With a TT, the cats, a smallish mid muffler and a larger muffler at the rear (where you have more room) will keep the noise at a sensible level. When I say muffler, I mean muffler NOT an empty tin can that will drone its head off. The best exhaust you can have on your zed is one where nobody even notices you when you are driving through a country town (especially the local cop) but emits a nice growl when your boost gauge goes positive. Noise does not make you go faster, it just attracts unwanted attention. You’ll get more than your fair share of Highway Patrol attention just because you’re driving a zed

It’s not a lucky dip, you need to find a decent exhaust place that will work with you …… recommendations from other zedders or other sensible performance car drivers in your area is your best bet

I have 3" from turbos to the cats, then 2.5" to the rear mufflers, centre X muffler, a couple of 4" resonators then straight through mufflers at rear all magnaflow, which is an improvement on drone compared the prior system, and I've been happy with it but drone free is the goal now or close to it. What kind of internals in the rear mufflers do you mean, Ive been sitting on some turbo mufflers with an s type configuration.

What're people's thought on mid mufflers, years ago when I removed the stock exhaust for 3" I ended up putting in an X muffler and my first thoughts when driving with it were " man that did fuck all " for drone I mean. I still think that today I don't think they're that great. Is there a better type mid muffler? I've been thinking do away with it and mimic the Stock exhaust with an h pipe instead. I know it's been covered before but what're you all reckon about H pipe vs centre X muffler?

    IB ?????

My UAS xpipe muffler killed all the drone. Made the zed very pleasant to drive.
