    NISMO LM-GT4's!

So stoked, been after a set of these for close to 2 years.
Its a staggered set, 17x8.5" with 235/45/r17 tyres up front & 18x9.5" with 265/35/r18 tyres out back, sounds odd but looks shit hot. will be even better once i can afford to lower it:D & a tidy little bonus is they weigh close to nothing, the 18's with tyres are something like 2.5kg heavier than the stock wheels & tyres:eek: ahh the benefit of forged wheels.

previous owner only had 225's on the front & 255's on the back, both too small so it was time for an upgrade... so got some brand spanking goodyear eagle f1's, no point skimping on tyres with wheels like this:rolleyes:

so anyway onto the all important pics!

    box shot, kinda...

    bought them local

they were for sale on nissansilvia.com noticed them on queens birthday monday, tried them that afternoon & purchased later that week.

Would rather not go into specifics of money spent but lets just say the cheapest i've found these wheels new is about $900 each... plus i had to buy tyres on top of that:eek:

    cheers, tim

I'll be the odd one out and say that I don't like them on a red car. I think they may look good on a silver or black car but red, no. I much prefer deep chrome dish on any Zed. :)

    BigCol That's what she said...

You bet it was me! Went for a quick trip to Lorne for lunch with Grant (DSCM) 'cos we were bored. I knew it was you straight away!

    a) Eagle F1's are the best tyre I've ever driven on. I've had mine on for over 50,000k now and still running good.

    b) Those rims look awesome! Looking forward to seeing them in person

nice! they suit the zed perfectely (although i have to say they would look better if the car was black, but then again so does everything :p ). good find

    sure are

forged aluminium monoblock's which equals very little weight but very big price tag! Nismo developed them for use on the JGTC race cars & they were then offered for the road cars.
They're available for the 350z through most nissan dealerships i believe, offsets dont work for the 300zx though, been there tried that. Weights just a bonus though, I've just always loved the look of them.

& seaweed I can totally see where your coming from, believe me the bronze wasnt my first choice! i was hanging for the brilliant silver but as this was the first set i've seen for sale in australia with the right offsets i figured i'd give them a go & the colour is growing on me, think it looks pretty tough now. worst case scenario i get them powder-coated in 12 months time.
As far as chrome dish goes though i personally think most dished wheels look crap, would only go for volks or racing hart's (actually i tried, again hard to get the offsets!) & chrome belongs on commodores:D

thanks for the kind words guys!
    cheers, tim

I like em. The bronze on burgandy combo is nice too... if you were going to powdercoat, a lighter shade of gold, a grey or black would look good also.

And they're rare too so you won't pull up to the lights and see someone with the same wheels as you... unless the person next to you has got the cheap knock-offs.
