Is that a metal braid over the positive battery cable? (possible short/fire hazard)

Gday gmrezzo yer just a bit of fiddly stuff (Is that a metal braid over the positive battery cable? possible short/fire hazard) Yes it is metal braid !but I have made sure that it can't short out

 

The orange is different from the regular red or blue.
Works well and doesn't overpower it. like it !
