    Hi all,

After speaking with Nissan, i found the seatbelts for my zed (1990 Aus-Spec) are no longer available and the best bet is to take them to a seatbelt specialist.

I've found a couple of places and looking at prices, it all seems pretty reasonable. Mine aren't in bad nick, but are slowly getting worse so i figured i may as well do it now in the last stages of her being off the road.

I'd be looking at getting them 'retensioned' i think is how you would describe it so they wind back up properly. I've found a couple of places in Perth that do it so will be in contact with them this week.

Can anyone who's done this give us a bit of feedback as to what they had done, the cost and the results?

    Cheers
    Jay

first things first, give them a wash. pull the whole unit out from the car but dont open the tensioner unit. wash the belt with warm soapy water. suddenly it will retract again! can also add some low friction pieces of tape to the selt belt anchor loops. cant remember the name of this stuff, so a search this has been suggested before...
