yeah twas a good day (half day) of zeds and chatter oh, and some tech thingies... even though i didn't do much work... i'll post up a few piccys tonight!
Had a good time today scotty! The cruise was fantastic, with early morning traffic being at a minimum. Got their at about 9:15 and by 9:20 there were two zeds in the garage getting jacked up. It was nice to see a few new faces and of course the two german sheppards that just giving everyone saliva covered presents! I also know that some great shots of the cars have been taken, so don't be shy people....and scotty, please send through those great shots of mine as I can't wait to get a new wallpaper at work! (I know your with a chick, so I'll be relaxed on the time frame  ) Paul
doh about the 5th traffic light along wanneroo road I was thinking, shoulda taken the freeway! even though it's a fair bit further for us east of wanneroo road.. oh and next tech day someone remind me to slip slop slap please.
Another good day.. the meeting.. the boys.. at Scotty.. blacki..er zweett on heat.. this beast stalked me home. Michael (Forbidden Performance WHY - TRI) breaking in the new motor (also owns a yellow zed). expect to see this at the plex sometime.. Was great meeting all of you. Thanks for your help guys. Thanks again for hosting Scotty  :zlove::zlove:
Re: Another good day.. it was a good day, between scotty running around with his blow up toy.. (he claims its for boost leaks) and 'not mentioning any names' making me and adam pull all his interior trim out of his boot because the adjustment for his shocks are at the top of the thing, only to find out they were adjustable from underneath,, hehe it was a great day, too hot to do anything really. lots of fidlies like boost leak tests/ TPS adjustment/O2 tests with datascan, a couple of radiator flushes and a snapped wheel stud fixed for good measure. oh, not to mention Daves full service and 02 sensors replacement (dave, keep those o2 sockets man.. say you lost em, they are worth more than gold) i think it was one of Devious's mates that pulled all my crappy japanese TV and sat nav gear out.. cheers to you my friend.. i really couldnt be bothered doing it.. pity i didnt bring my splits along.. could have saved me a morns work ive never been to a tech day before.. so it was good fun and great to help everyone out and meet some people face to face.. and man was cruising down the freeway with 10 or so zeds great fun. i havent seen any pics of my car riding low because of all the tools in the back though.. scotty????
great day turn out was good, although probably half as many as last time it was still great. Thanks a billion to minivan and his sidekick for pretty much doing the whole service on my car. I owe you. Car was running like a dream until i got off the freeway and pulled up at the lights, i think its missing..stalls at idle unless i keep the revs up. I'm guessing just a bad connection. Had a play but no luck. Any tips guys?
1BNR 018 I thought that was getting sold... I think u need to swap the bonnet for one without holes in it.. just so happens that I have one I could swap with u... rite colour and everything..
Re: great day no worries man.. check your coil pack leads.. theyre all pretty rooted and dont clip on well.. rememebr number 5 was off when we started her first.. (pull them off one by one and check for change in engine noise, same as i did but without datascan)
Re: great day hehe.. scotty always maanmges to catch everyone off guard with his bloody camera, this is me (on the left, and my sidekick.. adam) shoulder deep in daves car (stupid O2s, got them out in one peice though) and this is me explaining saftey first practices to everyone.. hahaha.. tune agent divorced dump pipes seperator is too big and causes exhaust leaks.. (didnt get enough off after all that.. still farted on full boost on the way home)
