SA SA Cruise anyone? 27/9

I'm suggesting a cruise for Saturday 27 Sept. Route suggestions welcome but here's one for starters:-
Meet at the bottom of the S.E. freeway, there's a hotel there we could meet in their carpark, then up the freeway to Stirling, down through Aldgate, Mylor, Echunga, Macclesfield, Strathalbyn. Stop at Strath for lunch, there are a couple of good bakeries there, plus often bikes to look at if you're interested and we can eat in the park by the river. Then back via Mount Barker and the freeway to just past Crafers then take the Old Mt. Barker Road re-joining the freeway near the Devils Elbow, total distance about 100 km. This route offers some freeway driving (remember it?s now only 90kph) and some nice scenery and twisty bits through Stirling, Aldgate down to Strathalbyn.
If we left from the bottom of the freeway at 11.00am we'd arrive in Strath just in time for lunch.

It is on if we can get a few confirmed participants. So far all we have is a few "maybe's". Cmon guys, it's only a week away. How many are definite starters?

It seems that Chris is avoiding my messages, so my car is off the road until I can find somebody else to paint it.

 

Mmmmmm. Not a lot of interest is there. I can make it if its still going ahead. The weather is looking good at this stage so I am happy to take the zed out.

 

what's the go ahead guys? I'm so keen to go on a z cruise, even if there is only a few of us......anyone else? anybody?:zlove:

Looks like there will be at least 4, hopefully more will be there, and as Simon said the weather looks like it's going to be perfect. Try to contact any other zed owners you know and encourage them. By the way does anyone have any Aus300zx cards? I've put most of those I had in mailboxes where I see a Z in the driveway. Last week I saw a Zed on the road, stopped him and gave him a card. He wasn't aware of the website but sounded like he might come along too. I'll follow up with him again if I can. Looking forward to the cruise.
By the way the Hotel is called "The Colonial", it's between the intersection of Portrush-Cross Rd-Freeway and the Toll Gate so almost on the corner, on the "up" lane. And we'll leave sharp at 11.00am this Saturday so be there before for a chat.
