    g'day,

I swapped rotors a few months ago and have done very little driving - pretty much up and down a driveway in that time.
I swapped the front rotors to slotted one's through Caz, and noticed already there's a bit of rust appearing in the middle - not the part that's slotted.

Is that normal? Any way to get rid of the rust?

will be just surface rust...some driving and braking will get rid of it :)

very normal. they aren't made of stainless steel so they will always oxidize on the surface. nothign to worry about :)

No it wont get rid of it. This happened to me when I replaced mine last year after just a few weeks the parts that the pads dont touch rusted up. I pulled them off got some mat black VHT paint, scrubbed the rust of and painted them black, except of course where the pads touch. Came up great and when I do the rotors on my TT I'll paint them before I install them.

Yes, I agree...must paint them prior to installing as mine have done the same thing...unless you're going for the gold/rust look lol...
