Me: Ryan, 22, Fire technician apprentice. R34 Sedan daily zed number 4 and hopefully i will finish and keep this one Model: - 1991 J-Spec twin turbo manual 2+2 Price: - $250 and a pack of winnie blues Build: - clean weekender and something to take to the track. Colour: - dark blue, light blue, silver  Bodykit: - stripped Engine Type: - 3.0 litre V6 twin turbo VG30DETT Arrival modifications: - Rolling shell Bad parts on arrival: - Paints 21 shades of blue - Small spots of rust here and there Date of purchase: - 23/1/16 stuff to come: - everything Budget: Don't want to think about it This is how i first bought it, previous owner had it resprayed but the paint shop messed it up and came out rough. [/IMG] First thing first was to to strip doors and hatch off and get rid of the nice paint [TIS] So after stripping the paint i found a fair amount of bog work and nice little dents, Im assuming it had a small rear ender at some stage. Still got a lot of paint stripping still to do though, door jams, doors, left quarter, hood, fenders and i will see how i feel about the engine bay :bash: More to come
The thread looks extremely promising. Obviously you don't mine taking on the "big" jobs. wow. Maybe a more apt name could be Aladin - diamond in the rough. Definitely a ground up build.
I'm impressed a paint shop could **** something up that badly. Care to let us know the name of the shop so as to avoid it in future?
