VIC Repco Roxburgh Park Grand Opening on the 17.09.16

Hey guys, Repco will be doing a grand opening of their new Roxburgh Park store next weekend and I've been told a well known car club (route 66) will be attending with around 20 cars or so being on display for the day and I thought it would be awesome to see if we can get a small group of 300ZX's to attend the event as well.

The other benefit I would also like to point out is as I'll be working at the store for repco on the day, I would like to offer any forum member who attends a special 20% off voucher which you can use store wide to purchase anything and get 20% off the total purchase price, This would obliviously exlude anything on sale already but in addition to the 20% off voucher there is a massive range of heavy discounted Auto one stock which repco brought as part of the sale of Auto one and are now just throw it away with the below cost prices on some items like SP tools, car car products, oils, additives, electronic parts you never know what you might find really and I think some members might find some really good bargins if they come down and have a look.

Damn, wish I had've looked sooner

I wish i had've seen this sooner I would've come over as I didn't have anything on!

Ah it was alright I guess, I wasn't expecting anyone to turn up and I only worked half a day anyways. But I did put the Z on display for a few hours as only a few of the Route 66 guys turned up for the tiny car show they had in the parking lot at the front of the shop.

When we opened at 8 am customers were already pouring into the store in droves and after about half and hour of us opening the doors, we had a line of I reckon about 20 customers snaking through the store and we had 3 registers going by this point so you can imagine it was just to many customers at for us to handle but after the mad rush was over we managed fine for the rest of the day .The biggest surprise for me was all fo the stock we sold by midday. I mean almost 1000 cans of degreaser, 500 bottles of 5 liter oil and 50 garden hose reels all gone, it was amazing to say the least.

Anyways here are a few happy snaps of my Z next to some american muscle cars. Funny thing was I had one customer I served say to me "Gee the Nissan looks so out of place there" I was like "I don't mind, makes my car stand out from the crowd." he was like "Oh shit sorry man didn't know that was your car." lol
