   I'm after some advice on restoring the RCP back to mint.
   It's a genuine Altia so I don't wish to replace it.
   
   There's a scratch on the outside. Quite a notice-able one, is sanding it back advisable?

   1500 - 2000 wet and dry depending on depth of scratch
   
   followed by meguires plastic X

   Using a buffer will produce good results
