Decided to sell my manly diff out of the zed. It's a Nismo 2 way specifically to suit the Z32 R200 NA diff. I purchased it from Z1 several years ago. Still have the original box and installation sheet at home. It works perfectly, and I doubt it's even got 3000k's on it and have changed the oil 3 times. Being a clutch type mechanical race limit slip diff, it does sacrifice some comfort over the standard viscous diff centre. It does clunk going around tight corners and can be a slight handful on wet roads if you aren't ready for it. Realistically this would be best suited to a race or drift car. Though a real man will happily drive it on the street :br: Here is the install thread with pics from when I put it in. Clicky At the time I installed new bearings and side seals along with a non-genuine GReddy extended diff cover for additional oil capacity. This cover was originally for a S14, but fit the Z32 perfectly including the ABS sensors There is a leak from the drain and fill plugs due to a non tapered hole tapped in the cover. If you use a suitable sealant or get tapered plugs it should be fine. I will include a new OEM nissan diff gasket if you want to put your own R200 cover on. Insides looks like this: Pretty cool hey? How could you not want this?? Everything is included to bolt into your zed (provided it is set up for a NA diff) R200 NA diff, originally with 130K on it which I believe is genuine. Nismo 2 way clutch pack limited slip diff centre Modified stub axles to suit the Nismo centre supplied by Z1 New diff bearings and seals installed with the centre when I put it in Non-genuine GReddy extended diff cover. New OEM diff gasket if you want to change diff covers Energy suspension front urethane diff bushes Any questions let me know. $1200 neg.
No, afraid not. I can't recall what the preload is. I have read that you can muck about with the orientation of the clutch plates to change it, but not sure if that is true for the Nismo ones. We'll talk tomorrow night
I like the idea of this, too much stuff I need to buy now though. Same as Rob's electric pump, nice idea, not enough money to go around. I've got to learn to make wiring looms first too, should be even more fun for me than it was for you.

Nahhh F that, you would have to strip it all apart again, then I would have to strip one apart and rebuild it with new bearings etc - wifey would never understand the time and expense. Maybe if I convince her it is for the 97TT........... :rofl:
