G'day Zedders, we had a fantastic turnout today.
I believe 23 in total (21 in the shots at the winery). We had two casualties, including [candu] (retired with dead alternator we think), and another with a MAF and K&N filter that fell off.

MikeZ joined in a little later and we had some fun with his webcam on the way back to Brisbane.

Here is our contribution of fotos and two small vids. There will be plenty of shots to come from others too. MikeZ and Kalus had fixed cameras on their cars.

After all our trouble on Friday, the yella fella didn't miss a beat.

    Great day Brent0n and Rob.

And I must say once again, I would have not been able to get there without the efforts of Mark and Brent0n. Cheers fellas.

Condolences go out to Russell Corbet on loss of pod & MAF (AFM) at Mt. Mee & Cliff for one dead Zed at Yatala.

    Well done Brent0n

a great Zed day on perfect QLD roads. Lucky our Zeds handle so well, so we can dodge any air flow meters on the windy roads!

The rear tow hook is an awesome place for the webcam. I just need a decent one now!! Got some "ok" footage on the way back as PEXZED swallowed up my camera, but with the sun behind me the vision isn't great. A good excuse to do it again anyway and I'll rig up some sun and wind shields. A positive trial run regardless.

I'll post up some pics in the coming days.

    Thanks again Brent0n.

being the last zed in the convoy so as to keep stragglers with the group ;)

    AFM body not found ....

... just a few bits of plastic & the gauze filter. The pod was wrapped up the wheel arch.

The perpetrator has been taken into custody...

A V E R Y loose pod filter retaining clamp was noticed, (nearly fell off itself) so the AFM/pod filter must have literally been hanging in there just held in by boost vacuum, but on those twisty corners with throttle closed momentarily, it has just dropped out...

The mechanic who worked on it just before needs a smack for that one...;) or at least reimbursement for an expensive AFM/pod filter replacement IMHO.

Speaks volumes for using a lower splash shield...
