When you say timeline? Do you mean a completion date? Orrrrr...? if you mean timeline date. Expecting to be tuning end of April. Pending no issues with start up and testing for cooling system, oil pressure, oil temps, thermo van, amperage or the power steering set up
yeah sorry that wasn't very clear! Yes meant completion on your current engine work. 5 weeks or so will come up fast, hope you get a great result.
its only been nearing 2 years going to be very interesting how these G25-660 .72 perform with the ideal set up to remove restrictions and enable proper breathing
Enter the final stages some good pics of my set up back from coating. full V band with plazmaman intake clamps- no bead or blowing pipes or shit off this time round.
The OS Giken Quad plate is mounted up now. R35 coils ready to be wired in. Bde trans Mount got a slight modification for the exhaust as it was a late addition but still works fine. Lower plenumcthreads were a little chewed up so they’ve been cleaned up also.
Jesus I’ve been slack on this. so after a boat load of person crap that affected finance and held shit up. It’s been started, now doing some additional sensor wiring
I read os triple plates break gearbox's can only imagine what a quad does, which gear set you going with? If you end up going with the gm spline option used in most dog sets, have a look on rhdjapan for the clutch centre that will fit your clutch and gm spline I saw it once all though might only fit triple (different company to os giken) unless gtr centres are the same then os makes those.
so I’m staying stock box (98+ spec) for initial work. The quad plate has the same cover as skylines. I am looking at a helical dog box 1-4 soon pending funds. what would be more ideal is a 3.9 rear differential … Just saying…
got ya after I commented I remembered you use this for the snowy event which the box would be slightly less strained than drag strip work. this is what I was crappy on about https://www.rhdjapan.com/orc-1000f-sp-triple-plate-center-hub-holinger-shaft.html They call it holinger shaft but its just the GM size shaft option used in in most dog sets this is the 3 disc hub, I mentioned it cause they list it for z32 but thinking about it more I think the os gtr hub would be the same too suit your clutch this is a pic comparing the size difference to the stock shaft, worth it it my eyes just sorting the hub is something to think about. (note to future readers: if you go dog and want gm shaft buy os giken triple or quad or other rebuildable multi clutch kits with the hub I posted above) Still haven't found a answer if this billet centre plate for a gtr also an option for most dog sets fits the z32 casing. Good luck procky car looking dialled.
It’s ALIVE!!!! And Jesus does it sound good 413 Rhkw with very conservative timing at all of 15psi fuel upgrade and alternator upgrade coming then it’s wind up time.
Sounds like a monster, can't wait to see what happens with the wick turned up. So lumpy, sounds almost like a worked V8! Ehat cams are you using?
